Hey guys trying to get a drag radials in the rear will a 275/40/20 nitto 555r fit without rubbing.or hitting the quarter panel? I put a 295/35/20 michilin Pilot super sport in the rear but I think it’s gonna rub when I hit a pothole. Trying to get something with grip as I am supercharged.

Thanks
Wouldnt know without test fitting but will probably be good in the rear. Are u running stock springs? If so I would bet you are good for play in the rear

Hope someone can help. I have these wheels on eibach springs on the rear I milled 5mm off the center to properly fit my 295/35/20 michilin pilot super sport my question is will I be able to fit a275/40/20 nitto 555r without rubbing Due to taking 5mm off?. Really would like to know before purchasing the tires to find out they won’t fit.

Thanks in advance

Need to know original offset of the wheel to answer that 100% confidently, but a less-wide tire should not have an issue if a wider tire doesn't. The height of the tire on a 20" is a lot... that's what I'd be worried about.

20x10.5 with a 30 offset milled down 5mm . The tire height is 28.8

So then it's now technically a 35 offset wheel - is my math going in the right direction?

Again, your issue is mostly tire diameter, not width, if a 295 will fit.

Also, if you really want the best drag times, you want 0 camber (ideally somewhere between curb weight and squat, more or less) so if you have a bunch of rear camber now, and take that out, you may introduce an issue. Keep this in mind.

Only if you have a pp. Base brakes dont require a spacer

So for a 2016 non PP, what front sized spacer would be required? I've seen people say 5mm front spacer, and some have said, non PP GT's dont require a spacer at all.
