Was curious if the mpg's were gonna benefit so I reset the display when I left the muffler shop. Had a few stop signs and couple of traffic lights before gettin outta town(I live in country). When I pulled into drive is was blown away at the mpg difference. I usually avg 26mpg leaving town. Has anyone else gained mpg with an xpipe?

I went from 19MPG average to 16MPG average after fitting my Corsa Sport catback system

I'm always stepping on the throttle to hear it scream :headbang:

My trip #2 display has never been reset and I average a hair over 21 mpg. On occasion heading out of town I will reset #1 to get an idea of hwy mileage. I actually haven't taken a road trip in the gt since I bought it. Its been more of a work dd car. Anyways was curious as to how well the mod would affect mileage .

Nice results

Nice results and good looking welding. That MPG increase may be " fools gold" but glad you will test it a few more times to let us know it's consistent. XPIPE was my 1st mod and very happy with sound..I'm gonna try h- pipe now since I bolted on Corsa sport axleback..trying for a louder throaty rumble before I add headers.

It looks like they did an awesome job for you. Did they do most of the welding with the pipes off or did they do the initial install and then weld, and have the exhaust tips pretty much stayed in place or have they tended to creep a bit lower?

Four cuts to remove resonator. Eight welds for the extensions. The exhaust stayed on the car whole time. I think the tips are still in original locations.

Youre probably right on the mpg. It can be inconsistent at times.

Did you ever try the H-pipe with your Corsa Sport axle back? I just had the same axle back installed and am considering deleting the resonator.
