I’m ready to move to a new project, I have been dabbling with s197 platform for some time and I’d like to take a swing on the s550 platform.
What I have is a 2012 that started life as a factory Roush stage 3.
since owning it it has been my tinker toy and the list is as follows:
-Built 5.2 block with manley rods/pistons at 10:1.
-Voodoo heads with custom ground cams from L&M.
-all aluminum Cold-case radiator with 160 thermostat, gt500 fan, Boss oil cooler. Boss trans cooler.
-Catless H-pipe with Borla tourings.
-Roush 2300 supercharger with a 2.8 pulley and vmp triple pass, dual fan intercooler.
-DSS one piece drive shaft, rebuilt the diff with carbon fiber clutches and S spring delet.
-Exedy stage 2 clutch. Ceramic sprung center single disk. With there matching lightweight flywheel.
-added the factory Brembo option with Brembo rotors and pads all the way around.
-RTR tech 7 staggered wheels with Michelin ps4s 275’s up front, 305’s out back.
-Roush shocks/springs/sway bars.
Definitely a lot more to the car but that’s the bigger stuff, has 800 miles on her since the build. Chassis has 60k.
what I’m looking to trade into is a mostly stock 15+ s550, I wouldn’t mind the performance package seeing as I’d likely add most of it anyway. Not overly concerned with miles provided the car was maintained.
