I have my stock mufflers with tips. I had the exhaust shop cut the pipe right where it meets the muffler so it's literally 2 big metal boxes with stock tips. I'm in Socal tho, San bernardino area.

If you put a magnaflow true x in place of the H pipe, it should be about as quiet as stock and will probably sound better overall. May even be quieter than stock, I am not sure.

I’m still looking for a complete oem exhaust. If anyone has one they want to get rid of.

Fwiw the oem is 2.5” pipe except at the header connection, the mbrp is 3” pipe. The magnaflow tru x is made for the oem 2.5” pipe.
