WTB: Intake Duct only (not air box)

Hello,

Just thought I'd put a feeler out for this part. This is for the intake duct only that leads to the air box. I do not need the air box or intake tube or sound tube, only the intake duct that sits behind the grille and leads to the air box.

Ford part # is FR3Z-9F763-B

Looks like this. Has the funny bulbous shaped resonator on it.

If you'd be willing to separate this from your stock air box and sell me this part you can respond to this thread or shoot me a PM. It would need to be shipped to Illinois. Part is about $30 to $40 online. Thanks if anyone wants to get rid of theirs.

I think most after market intakes reuse that part. My Steeda did.

Its ugly, it heat soaks, it is a "restriction" to air flow albeit slight. I'm wanting a spare so I can keep my original and hack on the one I buy. At this point I may just have to buy one new. I tried one online dealer and it wasn't in stock and would take weeks to have it available. I'm trying Levittown now. But I'd rather score one "on the cheap" for someone that just has theirs laying around collecting dust.

Most don't. JLT doesn't, Airaid doesn't. Those and the Steeda are the only 3 that I know of on the market for the 5.0 at this time.
