Hello everyone, I'm looking to purchase a GT350
2019+ Preferred, 2018 is also fine as long as you have the Gen 2 Voodoo Engine.

All colors are fine except Silvers or Greys.
Prefer Orange Heavily

Must be within 1000 miles of Seattle, but can travel for the right deal.

Under 40k Miles

Thanks for looking!

Hi,
Spotted your post and noticed that you were the one that responded to my AutoTrader ad. Pretty slim pickings out there when you get specific with your search. If you want Orange Fury and a warranty, order the ā€˜26 for $125k.
As for a S550, I wouldn’t buy one with over 20k miles because it most likely has had multiple owners and questionable history. A solid history is absolutely key!
There will Never be another truly special Shelby like the S550, as you know. Since the new SA GT350 is mostly a whippled GT and $125k, the cost and value of the S550s will just increase.
I pulled my AutoTrader ad because of so many dealers, fraudsters and uninformed people wanting a bargain.
Good luck with your search. It does take a lot of work finding the right one, and it will just get tougher. It took me 2 years to find the right one, and I was not even picky about the color. I have grown to really love Orange Fury, as this was only 1 of 150 made(with black stripes and Recaros). Have you had a chance to drive one yet? Very different from a Corvette.
Cheers,

Good advice for anyone who is looking to buy one of these cars. Ownership history is really important, and an extended warranty takes all the stress out about any mechanical concerns.

Hey,

That was indeed me lol, I know it'll take a lot of time, but I'm not in a rush, and it allows me to save more. I'm looking to buy the car I tend to keep for as long as this world lets me, so I'm definitely searching for the right one. I really liked your vehicle. I hope you get what you want out of it. May I ask your reason for selling?

By The way, the only extended warranty that is worth anything at all is from Ford. Recently, I looked into EVERY company that offers warranties. Just when you think you have found one that really covers an engine, you discover that there is a lifetime policy cap of $5k or $10k. And for a $3k-$5k policy is a waste of time and money.
IMHO,

keeping it long term was my plan as well. Turns out I have to have my left knee replaced soon. Thought this would be the time to also help my son buy a house. I can’t fathom the Shelby just becoming a garage ornament.

Sorry to hear that, and as for the 26', I honestly do not like the S650. I like the analog feel the S550's still got, and imo the body lines are a lot better with the S550 as well.

Did you happen to check Fidelity? The Porsche guys swear by this company - and those repair bills are astronomical.
