Wrap Dash Trim

I want to add some color to my interior but I can't picture what this would look like. I have an OW GT PP (black rims) with ceramic interior. Since the seats are pretty much cream colored I figured I'm good with whatever color I choose for the interior accents.

I'm thinking blue or red for the dash trim and get a blue/red shift knob to accompany it. Then I'll continue this color into the engine bay by painting the engine cover.

Thoughts?

Ceramic looks white in this picture but you get the idea.

Somebody on the site has a colored plastic bead, like where seat panels join together that can be purchased in many colors, you can use it where your dash/console seams are to add a color stripe, and maybe around door panels.
