can't remember if i checked yesterday or wednesday, but tonight my window sticker comes up! my blend date is 01/04/2016! so what exactly is that? that's the day the car is scheduled to hit the assembly line and get assembled?

so how many mustangs a day come off the line? how many are on the line at a time?

i'll have to search for some type of video on the birth of a mustang.

this is a cool video: [ame]

So the blend date is your build date. It usually takes about 18 hours from start to finish so your car should be released if all goes well on 1/5/16. From that point it's all a matter of time. I have heard convoy is faster than rail but not confirmed. My build date was 12/4/15 and released from the plant on 12/5/15 with Rail transport eta of 1/2/16 to the dealer! Hope this helps. Oh and I love this video!

oh yeah, forgot to mention - so i live in wisconsin, why rail that? it'd be a 12hr trip or so i guess. maybe they rail it to a dist. center in illinois then on a truck up to me. yeah, i guess that would make sense.

Yes been there! We do the Automation, Hot Rod power tour, Cruise for a cause, and all sorts of little fun get togethers.
