No wheel nut security from what I can see!
I think we get a locking wheel nut at standard (export model). Its and option on the US model, so most of cars you see in the pictures don't seem to have it.

Got a Ford price for the alloys - just under ÂŁ300 per wheel.

Really don't want to be trying to find the money to shell out for more tyres from the moment I pick the car up :(.

Having a quick look at some graphs for the UK 2014 months where temperatures were below 7 degrees Celsius and this is what I found:

Winter 1st December to 1st March = Mean Temp 5.2 deg.C
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/summaries/2014/winter

Spring 1st March to 1st June = Mean Temp 9.0 deg.C
Note: Temp dropped below 7 deg.C even in April!!
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/summaries/2014/spring

Summer 1st June to 1st September = Mean Temp 14.8 deg.C
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/summaries/2014/summer

Autumn 1st September to 1st December = Mean Temp 10.9 deg.C
Note: Temp dropped below 7 deg.C even in November!!

Obviously the above is based on UK averages and not main regions, so I know Scotland has a lot of snow and minus temps!!

Surely FORD need to fit all weather tyres!!

It'll be the responsiblity of the dealer. They are the one's selling you the car and owe you a duty of care. Up to them if they then want to try and take it up with the mighty Ford. Actually I think some of the Ford dealers are now actually owned by Ford.

In reality a Ford dealer won't have a clue or give a toss about suitable tyres. Its not as if we are going to refuse the car is it. We'll take what were given and like it!

Considering that the car that has just arrived in Czech Republic has P Zeros and that cars owned by guys in the cold States of the US also have the P Zeros, Ford obviously don't care.

Probably thinking that now they have sold the car cheap, they can make up their arrears with all the repair bills.
