I'm wanting to buy flowmaters outlaws axle backs for a louder sound. I have the MBRP street cat back now. It's nice and I like it. I just want something louder. Do you think the outlaws axle backs would be louder than the street cat back that I have? I need it to be louder but not crazy if that makes sense. How's the drone? I do lots of highway driving.
My buddy just installed flowmaster outlaws on his GT and even kept the resonator and it registers almost the same decibel reading as my FRPP sport catback (best sound I've heard overall in my absolutely biased opinion). It sounds good and a little throatier with absolutely no drone. It does fall away more up top a little since its all bass and no rasp. Add an x or h with that and I think even the atak will be beaten.

That sums it up. You may notice initial drone if the resonator isn't broken in yet but any I had has disappeared. Outlaws with H I believe will be the most amazing sound coming from that 5.0

I bought an x pipe for 40 bucks. When I received it I thought was gonna be bad quality, but for my surprise it is really good quality stainless steel t304. And had a shop weld it in place of the ugly resonator and also cut my mufflers and weld a piece of pipe with 4" corsa tips that I paid 50 bucks, shop charged me 80 bucks. But that's cuzz I know them. For 170 bucks my gt sounds pretty good, let me say this it is very loud. You guys can go to my Instagram to hear it @brazukaV8

I'm pretty sure what the TN law is referring to is the sort of remotely actuated dump valve to bypass everything -- in fact, you may still be able to have the system installed, but it may only be legal to use off-road. The law is never what it says it is, and not what a cop tells you it is -- it's what you can convince the judge it is... if you want that hassle...
No, it's not. In TN, it is illegal to operate a motor vehicle on public roads without a muffler. It is not debatable.

Same with Illinois yet oddly something like 1.5 million Harleys seems to get away with running only straight pipes. Just my observation.
