Let's see....

I've wanted a Shelby ever since one pulled up next to me in 1966. Just never had the money.

The sound....Oh, Lordy, the sound....

I finally had the money.

My wife said yes....

(insert Snoopy happy dance here) ;-)

Only car I've really desired to own. Besides, it makes me a better driver than I could possibly be. Reckless fun.

Because I love the S550 body style and the Shelby is the sexiest version you can buy! This has been my favorite body style since it was revealed. This is my second S550 but the Shelby by far is my favorite!

I could fit in the car comfortably. I am 6'6" and weigh about 260.

I owned a 2015 401a GT Performance Pack. I loved the car but beyond the fact the Shelby is that much more of a car mechanically I spent $7K in mods on the GT and it was still just a GT. I still could have easily put an additional $20K into the GT and it still would never be the car the Shelby is.

Well what better thread to be my first post than this one. I have wanted a mustang for years but my size has limited me. I'm 6'6" 300 lbs so for quite a few years I just could not fit. The the s550 came out and I found out about the gt350. My father purchased new a 1966 gt350 , white with just the side stripes. Only had it for 3 years before kids came along and it was no longer practical. So for me it was an easy decision. White with blue stripes and technology package. Limp mode or not. I needed the wide seats and a 2016. It's worth more in sentimental value. So I got mine I may of this year and have enjoyed driving it with my dad and my kids.
