This was super simple to complete and might take you a hour while causally kicking back a few.

The result was less than I had hoped for:

*Installing this caused a vibration between 1250 and 2k and at 2500-3250k RPM. From the people I had spoken with this is a exception from the usual, but I can only base my review on my experience.

*I have driven with it for about 1k miles to see if the vibration would go away and it has not.

*I also changed the transmission fluid hoping that would help and it did not

*The drill the hole in the middle of the insert trick, also did not help.

I will probably be removing this piece shortly as I cannot tell any significant difference and has caused this annoyance anytime I'm in those RPM ranges.

It is NOT uncommon for this piece to add some kind of NVH (aka, vibration) especially if your particular vehicle is prone to it, which is most of them are. That's why they rubbered the hell out of this shifter linkage - the transmission is loud as FFFFFF.

Yeah, I was hoping for this to fix the sloppy trans feel. No such luck

Anyone come up with a fix they would like to share? lol

I am actually pretty happy with the Energy Suspension Shifter Bushing. $14. The shifts are definitely more precise feeling. I think this paired with BG Synchroshift II will make me completely happy with it.

I did the trans fluid after the bushing. I might take it out and see if the annoyance, in the sloppiness of the trans feel, has subsided any.

who would have thought of using window weld on a transmission bushing? lol I might have to see if it works

Takes couple of days. I did this on my gto tranny mount and had zero nvh.

I had the white line in my gt and took it out right after a short drive. Gave it out for free.
