it has an engine!
Is that a good thing or bad, maybe worth more to others when reselling lol???
If it was special model like a boss it would be worth more, but on a gt, i doubt it. Id be surprised if it brought in more money

I love White Platinum, we have an Explorer in this color. Can anyone explain why the bumpers, especially the rear are a totally different color, a more yellowish color? If the entire body is primed the same color, the finish coats should be equal. It’s this way across manufacturers and models, I see it everywhere. Is it just that factories are too cheap and lazy to prime everything equal? My Ruby Red has no issues with color consistency...

I noticed this too, just a day or so after taking the car home. Kinda ticked me off. The only thing "off" on my car are the hood vents. They are as you described a more yellowish-white. Maybe they are Oxford White or some other white Ford color? To me it seems like someone grabbed the wrong parts off the shelf when assembling my car.

That color mismatch is one of the reasons I went with the Drake Musclecars hood vents. Also, I like the look of these better than the stockers.

Let me see if I can figure out how to post a few photos. Picked this up 2.5 weeks ago new 2017 Ecoboost. Was looking for something to do a few road trips in, inexpensive and fun. Chose to go with a new 2017 over a 2018 due to the Platinum White color as it matches both our 2013 Taurus SHO and 2013 F350 Lariat FX4 dually Crew Cab. It also had the cloth interior which is what I was wanting this time around over leather.
Saving $10,000 off of the sticker also helped to make the choice pretty easy.

I give up, I post a photo and it appears. But, when I come back it is gone with only a little X in its place.
