White edges on stripes

Looking for some help with the cause and any way to correct the white edges on a recent install of bigworm side stripes.

Thought it might be residue from under the stripe from application but over the past couple weeks it’s continuing to get worse.

Idk if thats necessarily something repairable. They appear as thought they're stating to peel. Possible to maybe heat up the edges and pushed them back down?

I’ve got two ideas :

I’ve never seen it on black, but I have had vinyls (fluo green) that had a white backing glue that upon close inspection could always be seen around the edges.

More likely in your case, is it not just a slight shrinking of the vinyl revealing a small edge of glue that then easily collects dust and wax reside etc ? Your water looks bad, could it also collect hard water deposits ?

How well did you prep the area before install.
Did you get all of those protective nano coatings everyone uses all off before install. ?
