Whistle

I’ve noticed a slight whistle, almost like a vacuum leak, at initial throttle tip in. After the initial throttle blip the noise goes away completely. Anyone else noticed this? Only mod is a k&n cai that was on the car when purchased.

The only other thing that would make a whistle on start up would be throttle body. S550 throttle bodies are known to emit weird noises and if using any aftermarket CAI, the sounds will be enhanced.

This. If you install a JLT, under certain conditions you can hear the TB whistle and change pitch as the blade actuates.

That’s it. Should have done a better search. Have a new soler tb coming so I’ll see if that changes anything Thanks for the links.
