UK headers are different, which effects power dramatically on a blown car.Is the UK tune different? Stage 2 without headers should be making closer to 660-690 RWHP.

I can't comment on the UK cars as I have no personal experience with them but 700 + is common place on the US cars with stock headers. Full 3 inch exhaust with long tubes is worth 25 - 30 rwhp. The Whipple tune makes nowhere near that power on a UK car with stock headers.
Stage 1 cars have shown around 610-640BHP crank on 93 an Stage 2 around 680BHP, crank.
One of the guys here had Whipples Stage 2, it made 610WHP and when he went Lund I think he was at 670WHP but he needs to get it ran again at somepoint.
But they make nowhere near that kind of power, certainly not on a UK car anyway with stock headers. Set of decent headers then yes I am sure 700WHP becomes a possibility.![]()

There is about an honest 7% lower reading on a Mustang dyno, often mentioned as the HEARTBREAK dyno lol.UK headers are modified to accommodate RHD which makes them more restrictive.
Also when we test our cars we generally use maha dynos which is what the manufacturers tend test their cars to confirm their figures. As such it does tend to mean UK dyno's read lower than US ones or more similar to a Mustang dyno.
