Whipple Flair Flash Tool Install Questions

(1)Whipple Supercharger Stage 2 Kit Installed
(2)Using my Apple MacBook for the installation(Note I was told I did not have to use Windows)
(3)Emailed Whipple all my information to receive my Voucher Number
I installed the program and now I have two icons on my computer 3.0 and 3.1.
Which one do I use?
Also,when I open them, they take me to a new installation process?
Any help would be great!

Sounds like you are only opening the installer. After you open the installer, have it actually install. Then go to your Applications folder and double click the Flare icon.

Each new version of the Flare tool has installed over top the previous version for me. I am also on a Macbook Pro.

I am running the latest 3.1 version.

I will have my wife try this when she gets off work because I did the supercharger install but when it come to computer stuff I am computer stupid.LOL

Got the Tune installed and thanks to all the members for their help.

Tune was install now engine light is on.
I will do a crank relearn today after the motor is at normal operating temperature and see if that turns off light?
Does motor need to be running during the crank relearn test?

When you open up flare and open your tune file...go to the configure tab and then click the slider for profile learning (while the car is on). This will cause a CEL to come on if not already on. It will then instruct you to blip the gas to about 4500 rpm. The CEL will then go out.

It is as easy as that.

Prior to doing the crank relearn, you may have to use the diagnostics tab to read and clear and codes you have.

That was the fix and the second time I blip the gas to 4500 my check engine light went out.THANK YOU
