Whipple Closed Airbox Filter Change

Just curious, those of you guys with the closed airbox, can you remove the filter without removing the airbox? It just seems like such a tight fit, I can't seem to get the filter out. Especially without banging it up.

It is a tight fit. I removed the bolts to the airbox to allow me a little more room to remove the filter. I forced it downwards to remove and reverse the process when reinstalling.
