which is faster auto vs manual?

Ok guys so iv read about the mt82 probs and this is going to be my first mustang. I'd opt for a manual but also enjoy being able to switch the radio station without worrying about what gear to select. However I do plan on taking this car to the track so I'd like to know if these new 4r80s are faster than a manual don't they get better times out of an auto?

With drag racing... auto will shift faster and are about 95% more likely to win.

Iv also read with a manual you make more power due to less parasitic loss hopefully if I choose the auto I'd still have that muscle feel to the car I wouldn't want it to lack in power
