Hi All,

I'm pretty sure I found this information on another thread but I can't seen to find where I read it. So I just wanted to double check before I pulled the trigger (I apologize is this is a repost)

I'm considering doing forced induction on my GT and have been mulling back and forth between a Centri (Vortech, Procharger) and Whipple. With that being said, which kit would be the easiest to put back to stock if/when I decide to get rid of the car. Or are the two types going to be about the same. Thanks in advance.

I'd say the Whipple, plus you will love Whipple instant power. Forget Centri for daily drive. The cenrti requires installing pipes, intercooler and tapping to engine block for oil.

Centri is much easier. You'll have to remove your front bumper with either to mount the inter cooler but the supercharger head unit is an easier mount with the centri. You don't even have to remove your intake with a centri!

Ummmm.... no.

And any top mount requires water lines and heat exchanger. Self contained centris do not require tapping the oil pan. Get educated first.

If you arent changing the manifold with the Centri setup, I would say the centri would be easier.

It takes 3 to 5 hrs to install a procharger. There is no splicing or hacking and everything is plug and play. Returning it to stock would be even faster. I've never installed or removed a PD blower so I can't comment on that. But I know the procharger inside and out and it's a breeze.

I've been lucky enough to install most of these systems on the coyote.

Roush - you have to grind the front when installing..... means nothing when taking the system off. The Bosses that are grinded off (or down) provide zero use to begin with. Unless you have a plug and play harness you need to re pin the wiring and re splice the MAF location back to a shorter wire.

Whipple - no grinding, no cutting up the car, a few lines need to be trimmed so its best to buy new hoses but that goes for just about any kit.

Procharger - easiest to install, honestly took about 4 hours (on a 2014), haven't installed on a 15 yet but I'm assuming its not much different. Lots of trimming of hoses so you'll need to buy new coolant hoses.

Vortech/ Paxton - takes the longest to install but fairly easy to take off.

In my honest opinion, if you're basing a kit off how easy it is to uninstall and install.... you're going about it the wrong way. We do numerous supercharger applications a week and can say, that in the end, they're all about the same.

Everyone has their reasons for wanting to be able to put a car back to stock.

The easiest is the procharger. 100%. Quickest install of any kit, and easiest reversible.

That said, there are a ton of kits that will do a great job for you.

We have customer packages in the procharger, vortech, Paxton, roush, and hellion for the 15's

you'll be happy with any of them. Our Paxton package is the most power potential for the least amount of $$

Thanks for the honest information! I was mostly concerned with doing something to the car that was either extremely difficult to put back or impossible to put back to stock. While its not the main reason for my decision, it definitely one reason to consider for me. I guess i'm just a bit paranoid because i'm in the process of putting my built Evo X back to stock and its been long process.
