When parking question

When in R there is a picture of the car and green , yellow then red as you get closer to something in R, is there sensors in the front ?
Our ranger does this in the front also, but the mustang it doesn't.
Should it. Is this something you option in the settings?

Does your Ranger have the self parking feature? My wife's Lincoln has that and it detects things in front because of it.

I don't think that is an option on the Mustang. And on my 2019 it is like yours. I get the back up alert but nothing in front.

THe dash has a pop up that states front camera limited view , clean screen.
Where might this be?

Yes that would be the windshield top safe and smart camera. Nothing to do with parking.
