I know we've talked about wheels before, but since I changed my R color to Race Red, I've been thinking about a nice bronze will to do driving around with. Anyone have any recs on some good aftermarket wheels?

I know, for the Shadow Black cars coming, that bronze wheel would look sick!

Forgelines - some of the best but expensive. The GA1R are super light..whatever you do or anyone else for that matter don't go cheap. The lateral forces this car is capable of will rip the center right out of a cheap wheel and ruin your day. Matter of fact I just saw it happen on the Optima USCA Series.

WORK wheels. I have bought these for my GTPP but they are polished anodized lip with GT Silver deep concave disks front and back.

My exact order but I have flat, red center caps.

Pressure cast center which is strong but not as light as fully forged. Good option. Like the adage you get what you pay for.

Yep it is. Fully forged. About 26lbs for the 20's. It's a 2 piece wheel, too. They are called CR2P.

I wonder what the off set is on the R, or the NON R....my concern with these rims, would be the wheels are in-set to much on the GT350 (the fenders look wider on the GT350 from the fender air vents behind the front tires...I heard they are 1/2 inch wider than the stock GT Mustang....

The R wheels are 18 pounds each carbon fiber and super strong to withstand racing on them; one of the benefits of buying the R to begin with and a good $10k of the cost.

Why take them off the car for heavier wheels? Mine as well buy the regular GT350 then with the track pack and buy the R spoiler and do a back seat delete which is cheap.

I plan on getting a set of Forgeline for mine. Track Pack car, not an R. If I had an R, I wouldn't screw with it like that but that's just me.
