Right i'm finally actually looking at a new set of wheels but for some reason i cannot get my head around all the dimensions.

I'm after a quite specific fitment i think maybe its easy maybe its not.

So I want to run 275 on the fronts and either 285 or 305's on the rear.
They need to be 19's as I want to maintain the current standard tyre profile height a lot of the ride comfort comes from the tyre don't want to step up to 20's. They need to sit just inside of the arch outer limits not flush but inside so when i crank the suspension down the wheel and tyre goes inside the arch.

Questions:
What width do I need on the rim so there is zero tyre stretch? ie: the tyre is wider than the rim as I despise the stretched look (to me the default ps4s's on the 19's look stretched they should be wider tyre wall should extend beyond wheel rim)

What offset do I need to achieve the fitting?

Hi David,

The sizing I would recommend would be

Front 19x10 Offset ET30-35 275/40/19
Rear 19x11 Offset ET50 305/35/19

Here are a few images of our Mustang (Excuse the unclean state of it on similar set up but with 20"

20x10" ET25 (Aggressive so go ET30-35) at the front Tyres: 275/35/20 Could go 285/
20x11" ET50 - Tyres 305/30/20 can go 315 but finding tyres in this size is hard/expensive as they are not as popular over here.

We can now supply Project 6GR & will shortly be adding the wheels to the website for a classic concave 5 or 7 spoke design.

Black Friday Offers and Discounts to also be announced shortly!

Edit: Images don't seem to be working so can use this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/v50kvfwe7bydae3/AADN-eIJZi3U5m3YUCewkOWxa?dl=0

those tyres look stretched in your photos to me guy :(

i'm after something that looks like this http://juddwheels.com/t325/ gotta be a uk supplier and ideally i want them in matt or satin bronze. company called signature wheels do the ones I really want but i totally refuse to pay their price so need to find something similar by a uk supplier someone i can ring up and get them to custom machine for me as i'm not even sure those t325's have enough internal clearance in 19's to clear the brakes.

I've looked into this and I've come down to the following choices.

Just to recap, I had my October 2017 order cancelled, otherwise my car would have been here by now, which is why I already have a set of Project6GR, seven spoke wheels.
I've come down to two tyre options, while keeping to 19 inch wheels.

Front R19 x 10" - 275 40
Rear R19 x 11" - 295 40
This should maintain the 8mm difference in tyre side wall on the standard wheels.
However, this combination appears to result in a ~2.3% diameter increase, which may effect speed readings by a percent or two?

Another option for me would be:
Front 285 35
Rear 305 35
I would expect a difference in tyre side wall, front to rear, of 7mm.
I'd also expect a diameter decrease of around -0.6% to -0.9% with the resultant effect on speed readings.

My research indicates the GT350R has:
Front R19 x 10.5" - 295 35
Rear R19 x 11" - 305 35
With a side wall difference of 3.5mm, front to rear.

How about these?

https://project6gr.com/product/project-6gr-ten-satin-graphite/

Custom Brushed Bronze option: https://project6gr.com/product/project-6gr-19x10-19x11-5x114-3-3550mm-brushed-bronze-satin-finish/

From the comment on mine looking stretched:

With the 20x10 could go with a 285 then and with the rear the 305 tyre has a rim protector that makes it looked a little stretched. Also when you go 19" you will have more rubber side wall and wouldn't look stretched at all.

With those Judd wheels you could go with a 19x9.5 Squared and would imagine they should provide enough clearance.

Here is 19x9.5 ET35 Square on 275/35 Tyres. I would possibly go 275/40/19 These are the same as the GT factory wheel 19x9.5 (ET52.5)

this is the colour closest to what i'd like to end with but i really don't like the 6gr 10's :( also damn expensive.

275's no where near enough wide enough as i said i have a very specific fitment requirements just need to know what ET to tell them to make them to and what width.
That’s the colour of mine.....
I’m running 285-35-19 up front and 305-35-19 at the rear..

yeah thats near enough the sizing I want the rear rubber does look stretched though so for me a narrower rear rim would be in order. for me the start of the tread has to be at or beyond the outer edge of the rim else i get upset :)

what sizes are your wheels ? 11" in rear 10" up front ? and what are your offsets

This (and similar) site is fun to play about with but also gives a graphical representation of offsets etc to make it clear. You can back to back with the standard sizes and offsets (attached).

maybe 10.5 in rear and 10 up front would be my solution for width but then how would that effect offset

do you know the clearances of stock too as that could be very helpful as a site with the clearances too

No, that's a good question. The calculator does give you an idea of how much they've changed (so if it's the same or greater you should be OK) but I don't know how tight things are as standard.

My wheels should have the outer edge of the wheel rim "flush" to the wheel arch.
ET values are as follows;

Front ET35
Rear ET50

With the increased offsets, the inner rim edge would be set further outboard, giving more clearance to the damper, etc. Giving you the chance to increase wheel & tyre width.

The P6GR wheels are significantly lighter too, which will be a nice benefit.

Enoch. You're car looks (Bad ass) great on those wheels!
