I have the 50th anniversary package..not one of the 1969 special made..the tires are 255/40/19's...does anybody know if those rims are 8.5 or 9's ?

Usually 255s are mounted on a 9" wheel.

I have the PP and I have 255 on my front 9" wheels and 275 on my rear 9.5" wheels. I am looking for 8.5" wheels for winter tires and the tire fitment says I should put 245s on them.

But you might have a special case:
