Here is my situation: I currently have the Steeda rear subframe braces installed. I immediately noticed that the wheel hop nearly completely disappeared. I have a procharger setup and while I dont have wheel hop, I have a ton of tire spin pretty much all the way through 3rd gear. I stupidly ordered the BMR CB005 before realizing that I could not use the two together.

So here is my question. Will swapping to the CB005 help with some of the tire spin or should I expect the same/similar results?

I'd obviously like to avoid "wasting" time on the install if I won't see any performance difference.

Either way I will be selling one of the two setups soon.

Kind of hard to explain but not an apples for apples comparison. IMO, the CB005 is a combination of a few pieces of the Steeda solution that includes the braces. It's a "pick the one you like" scenario. I thought the Steeda solution was more complete and better overall but there's a LOT of happy BMR CB005 users. Since you already have the CB005, you might want to at least see if that'll meet your needs. Alternatively, talk with Steeda and discuss the other components they would recommend.

Really though if wheel spin is your problem it sounds like the braces are doing well and you really need to focus more on tires now. Once you get better tires, you might find new wheel hop. That's where the other components of the Steeda solution would come into play or you would see the benefits of the CB005.

The CB005 will deliver a little better results for wheel hop than just the braces. Pick which one you want to use. Wheel spinning without hop is good, it means you can control it with your right foot. 275 width P-Zeros won't handle boosted power that well unless they're hot. You're spinning through third because you have more torque to the tire than it can handle.

Try lowering your tire pressure. If you do not have axlehop sounds like you have good Sub-frame control. Steeda IRS subframe braces provide the best structural support on the market. Racing and testing this weekend. If you have any questions pm me.
