WHEEL CHOICE HELP

2017 shadow black mustang gt. the mod bug hit me....hard. ordered the RTR front grille, carbon fiber rear decklid panel, sportline lowering springs, gt350 style rear wing, bucket seats, shift knob, ford racing windshield banner (cuz im a tool), SVE X550 steering wheel.. the only thing i cant make a decision on are the damn wheels :frusty: i really love the XXR 531 wheels and i was a click away from ordering some chrome 18x11 for the rear, 18x9.5 in the front. the look really good on all the 2v mustangs but what do you guys think about throwing them on an s550??

Honestly usually these threads creat a calling for wheel manufactures like our selfs to start sending pics and just drown you with picture and why there brand is better then others etc, I wont do that today lol. My advice is that if you like the XXR and you where about to purchase just do it, is your ride and im sure the car will look dope.

Looks is all personal opinion, but i have heard some nightmares about XXR wheels. trying to stay cheap you can look at the sve series 3 wheels which look similar.

I like those wheels but i would get 19's or 20's. 18's look too small imo.

Honestly brother, i wouldn't..
They look good because it has that old school CCW Classic look to them but for a S550 i wouldn't slap them on..
Not unless you are going for that JDM meets USDM look..?
if so why not...

I say go for it. I'm about to order my second set of XXR wheels. No problems with them, and actually get a lot of compliments on them.

I actually don't care too much for the design of mine, but they are the offset I need, the right size for the tires I use, and they are very inexpensive!

18's are too small for the s550. I would go 19" or 20" regardless of wheel choice as the fitment is much better bit visually and performance wise.

Our cars do have wide hips so they need a bigger diameter and wider width to fill them up with the proper tire this is true ^
