I want it just a little louder. No drone is acceptable. As close to stock interior sound is desired. I had gt500's on my 11 gt and liked it. As close to that as possible would be great with no rasp. Any advice?

A respected vendor recommends magnaflow. Thoughts? Anyone DB test the various options yet?

I would concur and say Magnaflow Street is probably what you're looking to get.

There is a sound clip somewhere on this site of a Ford Racing Touring axle back and it sounded pretty reserved.

If drone is the most important aspect I would leave the stock axlebacks and do the Lethal midpipe. Magnaflow drones IMO. I had their Street catback on my '11 and it was pretty bad.

i would just got with a resonator delete, do an H-Pipe or X-pipe, There are a couple of companies that are offering a premade pipe.I did the H-Pipe and it is a little louder and deeper but not too much at all.

I believe Turrizm is currently running those on his car and commented that they're pretty tame.

Which one of their systems were you running?

Good question, and one I'm interested in as well. From what I can tell from reading all the threads, I don't recall anybody saying any of the axle-backs drone. IMO its because the resonator is still in place and it does something to keep the drone down. The guy who said his Magnaflow droned says it was a cat-back, not axle-back. I've been looking hard at either the Magnaflow or Roush, and between those two the Magnaflow sounds deeper and not quite as loud.

The FRPP Touring also sounds pretty good from the various videos, and I don't recall anybody who has installed it admitting to any drone.

For me its down to these three.
