What's the lowest you've let you gas get to?

On e85 with the mpgs so bad I'm sure mine's been below 10. At a quarter tank it shows 45 miles left lmao

I hit 7 miles once on a cross country trip. Man I was glad that exit had a gas station.

James I think the difference is US Gallons versus Imperial (UK) Gallons. 16 US Gallons equals 61 litres. A US Gallon is about 3.8 litres and a UK Gallon is about 4.54 litres.

Thankyou yes you at right! looked at the wrong conversion (imperial gallon)

16 US gal = 60.566 Litres

So my fuel calculation will be 21.92 MPG fuel economy that's a bit more realistic now

Not sure how true that is. If it was, every car's owner's manual would warn about smoking the fuel pump if the tank was ran too low. Nothing at all in the S550 about that.

Now if you actually run out of gas and run the pump dry, then yeah that might not be so good for it.
