I've seen so many videos of folks with other cars that have tons of apps on Android Auto. Apps like Play Store, Torque Pro, Headunit Reloaded, and all kinds of stuff. I don't have shit. Like, just a few apps and they're mostly Google. I don't even have FordPass on my Customize screen.

Do I have something set wrong?

You can set what apps to show and if I'm not mistaken, you can have multiple screens with apps.

Right, but there are basically no apps to show. I mean, who wants Google News when you're driving?

I'll take a pic of my screen tomorrow. I know I have all the streaming station apps, Waze, and some others. I'm pretty sure you can go into the Android Auto settings and choose which compatible apps you want to show on the screen.

I don't have many app options on mine either. I did play around with Torque Pro with OBD2AA though I haven't settled on every day gauges.

OK, so how did you get Torque Pro to show on your screen? It's installed on my phone but does not show up in AA.

Yes, plug in Android phone, it will prompt for which application to run, choose OBD2AA, AA starts on the sync display, choose OBD2AA there, and it pulls in predefined gauges that use torque pro for the data. The link explains all the requirements. I didn't want to make some of those changes on my primary cell so I used an old phone for it to test.

Since I've had my car I've never plugged in my phone lol just Bluetooth and I run waze on my phone everyday so looks like I'll have to go buy a new phone cord since my charger doesn't have a regular USB plug on the other end. It's those newer galaxy chargers where both ends can fit into the phone.

Check the box your galaxy came in. Mine came with several attachments and one was a USB adapter.
