B would be perfect. Please don't touch the paint. I will prep and protect it properly.
This. I am getting white, so not as concerned with dealer fumbling. If I were getting a dark color, I'd specifically ask that they don't touch the exterior.

To the following Scenarios

A.) A group of people were looking at & touching your car at the dealership in front of you.

B.) Dealer tries to hand you the car not detailed or cleaned at all.

C.) Some Punk kid test drove your car and nailed the throttle in front of you.

D.) Not even 10 mins driving off the lot someone rear ends you and destroys your car. ( I really want to hear the answer to this from people who ordered in May with No Vin #s still.)

E.) My favorite but least likely to happen... Both our wonderful tracking service and your local dealer tell you the car is here, you get there, and turns out yours isn't even there.

Guess I need to add this is just for fun people.. none of this has a real chance of happening..
A.) Not likely to happen, dealers do not allow clients near these cars.
B.) I paid 500 bucks for that, he'd better have done it.
C.) Not likely, See A. (Could still be the people working at the dealer's, but I think they would use the 'showroom model' for that, not mine.)
D.) I'd be glad if it was totalled. It'd be worse if it was just major damage that can be 'repaired' and you'll have to live with the rattles and quirks that stem from it.
E.) Not likely. The dealer only calls you when he has physically received your car from the truck, to let you know when it'll be detailed and ready for you to pick up.

Related to D: Closest thing I actually experienced was my previous, then brand new, '06 Focus was scratched by someone with a knife (or key) the first weekend after I got it, while it was parked in the street outside a friend's house at night.

Okay for a Raptor, but I don't think the Mustang would fare quite as well :eyebulge:
