What tire size for a bolton 18?

I have a 18 with A10 and 3.15 gear, what would be the bette tire size for a bolton car?

I'd assume since you posted this in the drag section. You mean tire size for launching your car? if that's the case. Most people run 305s on a 17 inch wheel.

For the track you will want a 275/40/17 drag radial which will give you +/- a 3.44 gear ratio.

I run a Racestar 17 x 10 on a 305-45-17.

26 x 6 up front.

305-45-17 will be way to tall 27.9'' for a N/A car in my opinion great for FI car

It's working fine for me. Low 11s@126-127 with a 3.15 rear.

Tune-E85-JLT-H Pipe Car.

NC85 .Have you ever run it with a 275/40-17 tire just to compare as it would be interesting to know.There are a few guys up here running high 10.8X's using the 275/40/17's ( 2 have tired a taller tire with the 3.15's and went back to the 275) Mods are LTubes - 93 octane tune CAI + drag radials/skinnies.We do not have access to E85 which would improve ET +MPH.

I haven't run it with a 275. Honestly, I don't like the look of that tire size compared to the 305 on my 18. I've got roughly 2k miles on my 305s and I was just saying to myself I'm going to re-order the same size when needed this year. I'm certain I'll run 10s N/A in a few weeks with my additional mods as well (LT-DS-Axles-TB).

You are right about the ''LOOK'' and you are on your way to the 10's with the LT's.Let us know when you get there.

Same here. 1.48-1.52 sixties. 11.58@117 on an e85 tune, CAI, headers, stall.
