our cars use 255/40R19 and 275/40R19 stock.
So that being said, if you're going with a 275 on the car up front, then it should be a 275/40 if anything.
I know that if/when I replace tires and go wider I'll run a 275/40 up front and a 295/40 out back at least. if it can squeeze it I'd even shoot for a 305/35R19 out back
And who makes 295/40s (likely outside the recomended range for a 9.5" wheel)? When I was buying tires, no one was making a 19" 40 series wider than 275.
Mixing 40s and 35s isn't a good idea. 275/40 is an inch larger in diameter than a 285/35. Which will look like crap, and the reverse rake and stagger will not do good things for handling or aero.
