Hi guys.
I have noobie question. I took wheels off for caliper paint and i notice this thing mounted on k member and not connected to anything. Only on driver side. So what is this for?

Looks like some kind of vibration damper.

Yeah, it's an NVH damper. It's supposed to eliminate unwanted harmonics in the chassis.

Ecoboost high performance. Yea its weird that oil filter has no Motocraft label. Just plain grey color
