What's the point? The high performance variant of the ecoboost Mustang will start at $32,760. A fully loaded high performance variant of the ecoboost Mustang is $36,755. The GT starts at $35,630.The HPP is more than just 20HP. My guess is that the dyno will show more.
They should have just gotten rid of the base ecoboost engine and made all the ecoboost Mustangs the high performance variant and not upped the price.
By the way, the high performance variant comes with the 20 hp increase and also adds upgraded aerodynamics and suspension (from the Mustang GT), and a tuned quad-tip exhaust. I imagine the weight of the ecoboost will go up slightly as well. In my opinion, I don't think it's worth the extra $5,000 on top of the starting price of the ecoboost.
