What gears fit what diff?

This may be a dumb question since as far as gears go my exposure has only been to GM 10 and 12-bolts. Done many gear changes.

I have a GTPP with the 3.73 rear. Since installation of the Whipple, I find I want to go to a numerically lower ratio: say 3.31 or 3.15s.

Will these gears fit on my existing Torsen carrier or will I need a different one? Does the 8.8 use different carriers depending on ratio like the GM 10 or 12 bolts do?

Never mind. I found the infoI was looking for. 3.31, 3.55 and 3.73 all use the same carrier...

3.31's seemed the preferred for the FI manuals and 3.15's for the Auto.
