The V8 bug finally bit you, eh?
I remember when you said driving the V8 was a bit too scary when you got their red one on loan when your EB was in for repairs! How times change. :cheers:

Yes it finally got me :)


In fairness though my last encounter with a GT was a cold wet November with brand new P Zeros ... not the best introduction :lol:

True... true. That and it was the car that was eventually crashed into a brick wall then sold as slightly used to an Autocar reporter. :lol:

Red's a scary colour, too fast for your average joe. ;)!

I wish it was that simple...................... Friday I've got Alan at Pumabuild having a look at it.

I'm still sat on these being causes:
1) Steeda inserts
2) Dead bushing somewhere
3) *New* lower Toe links bushings
4) Alignment (Why not hey)

I wish it was that simple...................... Friday I've got Alan at Pumabuild having a look at it.

I'm still sat on these:
1) Steeda inserts
2) Dead bushing somewhere
3) *New* lower Toe links bushings
I’m sure Alan will take one look at that EB of yours and have your rear end fixed up in no time :thumbsup:

That's the hope xD! The bladyyyy auzzie's didn't manage to sort it (Pedders UK guys), The japs didn't (Tegiwa imports), the Americans couldn't (Ford), so lets see if Britain can bring it home. :lol:

Strip down of turbocharger , charge pipe kit etc for thorough checkover and overhaul

Turbo re instated with new turbo blanket and re worked actuator bracket to allow more efficient operation

Tial Q blow off valve chosen in preference to current recirc valve , this can be seen blanked off in latter pics

Filter element thoroughly cleaned and re oiled as part of the service carried out on the vehicle while its been off the road

got all excited then thought you'd managed twin turbs on a normal sized engine.
