Got my factory foundry wheels dipped gloss black today..........tomorrow I put on the ford racing black emblem'less deck lid the poster above put on (looks great btw), sunday I get the orange reflectors on the headlights and the rear bumper lights tinted and install the Diode Dynamics 500 lumen reverse light

I see you are in Orlando as am I. Where did you get your wheels dipped and how much did they charge?

Got a quality detail. I always hand wash and keep my interior looking nice but I have lost the patience to keep the paint looking stellar. Had it washed, clayed, washed again, 2 levels of polish then wrapped it up with a sealant. Other miscellaneous things were included but I was already pretty on top of the other stuff. Not enough sun out today to show the brilliance but it still looked much better.

Finally got rid of the sound tube. Side note, under my hood looks like I ran her though the Baja 1000 lol.

Out of curiosity, why do so many people eliminate the sound tube on their GTs? I love listening to my engine personally. Just never understood the reasoning other than to quiet down the cabin a bit. Anyone enlighten me?

I would say the top mentioned reasons are to reduce cabin noise and clean up the engine bay. I still have mine for now but I deleted it on my 2012 GT and both reasons above were my motivation.

I did it to clean-up the engine bay. I perceived ZERO cabin noise difference before and after. Maybe I'm just not real perceptive?
