Do yourself a favor too - add an Outerwears micron pre-filter to the conical; it will save you maintenance intervals, keeps the conical much cleaner, make that conical last practically forever. It will NOT obstruct air flow, don’t listen to any BS myths about pre-filters like the Outerwears.

You'll thank me later when it cuts your conical maintenance down to -0-...

Check this thread for what I’m referencing:

I have one works great!

That's the V6 emblem. The Ecoboost is just the running horse.
The one he was talking about only came on the EcoBoost with Pony Package.

those are coarse threaded screws into the plastic, they’re not moulded in or anything.

To remove them you’d double nut the protruding threads and then unscrew. Shouldn’t be much of a problem. It might take a bit of force to get it started but you’ll be fine.
I'll give that a try. Thanks

Are there any differences on that one compared to the one used on the V6?
Yes, the tr-bar is colored. Borders may be different, size may be different, but the important part is the red white and blue tri-bar.

The bars are colored red, white and blue on every tri-bar Mustang emblem made.

In response to a picture of the colored tri-bar on the Ecoboost Pony package panel, you posted:
That's the V6 emblem. The Ecoboost is just the running horse.
I said no, the Ecoboost Pony package has colored tri bars. You responded:
The bars are colored red, white and blue on every tri-bar Mustang emblem made.
Sigh. Not the one YOU referred to.

See? NO colors anywhere on the V6 tri-bar panel emblem. Three bars, all chrome, just like the horsey. You got it wrong when you posted the Pony Package panel emblem was identical to the V6 panel emblem. Move on. 🙄

^^^ LoL, Ok grumpy I see. I've seen some V6 Mustangs with the colored tribars, but maybe they painted them or changed the emblem. Also, don't the S197 Mustang V6 have the colored tribars?

Installed my blank Red Textured Raceseng Ashiko and R-Lock in the parking lot on lunch.

Super surprised how heavy it actually is. Feels good.

I read through the other post and no one confirmed the correct part number. Do you happen to remember?
Too long ago, I believe I just measured the filter and bought it by size.

Packed up for another road trip…drove 500 miles today to Gettysburg PA for a couple days 😎
Nice. We were there last August for a few nights. Unfortunately a lot of places were closed. Great tour of the battlefields though which was worth the trip. Check out the Gettysburg Museum. They have Maj Dick Winters display.
