Thanks bud. Didn't know if it was a custom mix or special process. I appreciate it and I'm going to have to copy it now! Looks great.
No problem. I was going to do a custom mix, but then talked myself into just doing straight up Ford.

I love BMR and their products, but the version of their springs are a huge compromise between handling and looks. Though, I am sure it handles way better than stock. I don't think that they would argue that. If you really want to lose the squishy, you will need BMR's SP083 handling springs. They are linear, and I prefer a linear rate because you always have an exact feel for how the car is going to break over in a turn. I have the Steeda UL linears, and this thing is on rails.
I actually don't have the BMR springs or the Steeda dampers installed yet, it's all stock except for the CB005 kit and the wheels/tires. You're probably right though, I just didn't wanna lower it too much because it's still my DD for a while longer. Maybe I'll wait a while and see if someone wants to swap the SP089/82 combo I bought with the 83s.

I think the tires are to blame for a lot of the squishiness, however. The Continentals I have are notorious for having soft sidewalls which was never an issue for me until now. They gripped really well, but the responsiveness felt dampened if that makes any sense.

It's all in what you want. If it is a DD, then the SP089/82 is a great spring. But if you are indeed planning on making it a more aggressive, non DD... Well, if you are going to be a bear, be a grizzly.

Lorne, your paint is looking amazing! Love the stance as well. Nice job buddy! :headbang::headbang:
Thanks Chris! Had a great time at both shows.. lots of compliments on the DIB Color and the interior. At the end of the day on Sunday I had a guy ask me when If I was getting tired of the stock wheels... I just laughed and thought of our conversations..It's not in the budget for this year, but I am soooo looking forward to getting new wheels and tires next spring. :headbang::thumbsup:

Took her out for a cruise this morning. My second day to play with the 93_85 flex fuel tune, it's great!!! Found this mural along the way in Binger. It's the home town of Johnny Bench, the baseball catcher who played in the Major Leagues for the Cincinnati Reds from 1967 to 1983 and is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Mustangs and baseball.
Looks great! Love the photo... I grew up watching Johnny Bench and Pete Rose. Never forget the 75 world series...

Paint looks great - how do you get it to shine so much?
Thanks!...It's a combination of a Modesta Ceramic Coating combined with Ultima Waterless Wash product which enhances the shine... It was one of the best investments I have made...makes cleaning the car super easy and no wax required...

Local car cruise in.nobody in my area brings the S550 to the shows and I get tons of questions on these new Mustangs
Looks great! I know what you mean.. the car is a magnet. I was at a very large show and only 2 S550's were present....

Over the weekend my nephew (ASE Certified Mechanic) did the install of Performance Pack 2 :headbang: It really does transform the car.
I am going to do that mod in the spring.. can you be more specific about what changed and how you like it?

Finished totally cutting out my top grill, put the car back together (yesterday, needed it today). The cutting turned out really clean, almost looks OEM, just a dremel and some 150 paper to finish it up. Red intake ducts looks +killer+. AITs are low.

I think I'm going to make an internal "cooler protector" plate.

Whipple New Gen 3 Blower

Here are a few photos of the Whipple SC incredible new Gen 3 blower in Ruby Red that's currently being installed. Also upgrading to the ID1050X fuel injectors to make sure the new 5.2L motor and Gen 3 blower aren't limited in its power.
