Turned over our raised vegetable gardens and added manure
Sponsored
Most people when they hear the mention of "Ash" tend to picture those dirty old Desert Ash. There are now some really nice Ash's offered by Fleming's but perceptions are often hard to change. I can sell 15 Maples or Pears to one Ash.LOL how lucky can you be!
I didn't realise that, what's the basis for it?
Am a city boy so you mean the roots are sticking up in the air now?Turned over our raised vegetable gardens
LOL. No just, nothing is growing or planted for the season. Turning over the garden is just another term for rototilling the garden. Each year I mix in manure to replenish the soil with nutrients. I use the rototiller to mix it all in.Am a city boy so you mean the roots are sticking up in the air now?
LOVE those floors!!!Well, I have just created a huge job for myself. The first year we were here (2017) I replaced the 250 square feet of carpet in our sunroom with 3/4" hardwood floors. Then a year later, I replaced the 800 square feet of carpet on our top floor with the same hardwood. Now I have ordered 55 more boxes of the same flooring and will start replacing the 1600 square feet of hardwood my wife doesn't like on our main floor. Pictures of the main floor to come.
Thanks! We absolutely love the fact that it has a matte finish instead of being super shiny. Unfortunately, the price just keeps going up. Bellawood 3/4 in. Matte Brazilian Pecan Natural Solid Hardwood Flooring 4 in. Wide | LL FlooringLOVE those floors!!!
Thanks! That's why we started with one room first and now we can't stop.I may not have been brave enough to pick that flooring for fear of it looking too busy but it actually looks terrific. Well done!
Digging these holes and hitting rock etc
ha. the previous owners transplanted that rock, paid a pretty penny. I really enjoy it to be honest. I sit on it sometimes. this was photo before with no fence, since mine got broken. I wanted a new one up so no one could walk off with my little trailer or mower out of shed, I wouldnt even know.
You lifted that sucker out by yourself ???
Finished job looks good, well done.
A lot of people would be happy to pay a pretty penny for a rock like that, I'd happily have it in my yard as a garden seat. Is it the angle of the photo or does the shed have an unequal gable?the previous owners transplanted that rock, paid a pretty penny I really enjoy it to be honest. I sit on it sometimes.
Looks good. What does that fencing cost per linear foot? We recently bought the half acre lot next to our house when people started just building on every available lot. I would like to fence around the back of the lot to keep the wildlife out of our yard.A year ago I had my wood log rack parallel with an older wooden fence in corner of my property and soil eroded and it fell over. So I moved the rack and finally tossed up a fence. First time doing fencing, not gonna lie.
Digging these holes and hitting rock etc sucks balls with a pole digger. My body is aching, and Iām sun burnt and a bug stung me in the eye, I removed a small stinger out of nowhere hurt like hell. But it wasnāt long lasting pain. Itās rewarding.
On the end post I couldnāt get a hair closer, it had a massive concrete ball on it. So Iām going to do a small patch of fence and wire it to both post to make a small close off. The guy is a cool neighbor. Said no problem.
