Yes, 3 weeks was trying. Biggie was the seat tracks... the prev owner left a cup insert phone holder in the car and it jammed under the seat. I moved the seat full aft and all kinds of stuff came apart. Those Weathertech phone holders are TOUGH.

As far as M1's, the TSB only applies to 21's. 22's and 23's have the updated fittings.

But we all have that recall to deal with... its just a BCM update. The fix just came out last week.

The original date on the TSB is Sept of 21, so yours may already have the updated fittings.

Not really, honestly I didn’t realize the factory piece had as much weight as it does. I like the look and overall feel better than the factory one.

I installed a Steeda street short shift and really didn’t like it at all as gave very notchy and mechanical feeling shifts until I installed a Shift Solutions weighted shift knob which made all the difference. It just smoothed everything out. Can’t recommend it highly enough. SS was the heaviest ball style I could find at 610gms.

I think you may find a heavier knob does make a difference. OEM is only around 230gms.

Let her get some semi-sunshine, aired up the tires, little warm up around the block and back in the stable. Was good to stretch her legs a bit!

Had its first taste of rain on a drive in southern AZ, was okay to control but I felt it correct now and then on the Interstate, then getting home and remembering I have a “rain” mode, oh well. Handled fine and gives me a good excuse to detail it again.
