Hello,

do you have any trouble with ati-slip system on high speed with the chaged tires?
I drive the same tires on my GT350 with P51 rims and had no problems but my friend has the same configuration and above 150mph his ASC is flashing sometimes.

Completely embarrassed to ask, as I know it will be obvious to everyone. What are the plates under your tires for? Where did you purchase them and why do you use them?
The plates are actually pieces of 2" rigid insulation i cut down to size. I use them to avoid tire flat spots during the winter.

305's will fit the 11.5 wheels.
I have the OEM 295 front and 305 rears on my R spec wheels, they are a bit stretched but my car is lowered on FR springs so it actually helps.

Thanks for the info and for the pics from both of you. I find it interesting that the 305/35 tire looks to have more of a stretched appearance than the 305/30. I would have thought it would be the other way around. I'd think the taller sidewall would more gradually stretch to fit the rim than the shorter sidewall and therefore have less of a stretched appearance.

I'm tempted to do 305/35 all around because I could use the extra ride height the 35 series would give me. I scrape my splitter far more than I'd care to on things I wouldn't have expected to scrape on.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm betting he's referring to all of these tires as 30 series, no?
I am pretty sure about that. Also note, that with a 35 tire, you have a bigger tire, larger diameter. Your speedometer will be 3 mpg less than it actually is, at 80 mph. You lose tiny little bit of acceleration too :)

So being that my car isn't an R, it originally came with 295/35 and 305/35 front and rear. Currently I'm running 305/30 and 325/30. I'm assuming my speedo has been off while I've been running the 30's and by going back to the 35's (but 305's all around this time) it should be back to normal?
