Got given these a wee while back. Finally decided to throw them on as I've been contemplating putting them on or not.

I have them too and really like them. I actually got them because they remind me of the mustang backed celica from when I was a teen, so I have a part on my mustang that reminds me of a part they put on a car that kinda paid homage to a mustang.

Made the first changes to the car today before plates went on.

Started small with a K&N filter and a Ford Performance oil separator.

Does anyone have hints to US websites that have reasonable shipping? Looking to add some more of the Ford Performance parts catalogue and one shipping quote was US$2000.

Know that pain too well.

For Ford Performance, you are basically limited to what the local suppliers want to sell. Herrod is the official FP distributor. Have you looked at CJ Pony Parts?

Thanks guys. Yep grabbed my FP oil separator from Herrods and have looked at CJs. I completely forgot about using Summit and Jegs so will check them out too. I don’t think I’ve used either for a decade.

Thanks.

Try one of the many freight forwarders in US. I have used Comgateway a couple of times with success. They are very open to discussing ways to repack your goods in order to reduce costs. There is a feature on their site that allows you to forward a link to what you are buying and it will estimate your freight charge.
If you can find a US supplier that does free internal US shipping you have a win. Comgateway are in Portland. July 4th is coming around.

Hi Peter I've looked at freight forwarders for things like wheels but was always worried about damage in terms of how it gets resolved eg if the wheels arrive at the forwarder's damaged and the vendor and local shipping company blames the forwarder, or if they're not repackaged and arrive here damaged etc. There's also the 'what should be' and the 'reality' of these things when it's time to take responsibility.

Grateful for your advice.

In my experience the process has been very professional. The forwarder sends photos when the parcel arrives at their premises. I guess they would contact you if the wrapping was damaged. From there the forwarder offers insurance at a small fee for the trip to Australia. You can also consolidate parcels from different vendors which can save.

Anyone changed the Brembo brake pads for a less dusty version. I know in the USA they like Powershop Z23 but wondering if there is anything here as good or should I import a set? thanks

Amazon has them as do I. Both front and rear very little dust and probably (for my purposes) stop just as well as the Brmwbos but 1/4 of the cost.

Do you mean you have the Powershot Z23 and you bought them from Amazon?

Sorry. I bought Powerstop Z26 for both front and rear off Amazon. Not Z23.
