When I collected the BMW the car was covered with a bespoke black and white car cover and dramatically unveiled in the showroom in front of the sales room staff and then we received gifts and a huge bunch of flowers for the wife.
With the Range Rover it was a bit less dramatic but they were very professional and my wife again got flowers.
Both of these purchases were repeatedly followed up by the sales staff who couldn't have been more helpful.
I really don't know what to expect with the Mustang. The sales person I'm dealing with a wonderful guy, very helpful, genuinely converted enthusiast originally from a non-ford dealership but I get the impression that the business is more used to selling convenience orientated off the shelf supermarket euro-boxes rather than true enthusiasts cars. They don't mind me asking technical questions and me changing the spec a couple of times
but they certainly don't seem be as attentive as I'm used to. But they will probably prove me wrong at the unveiling...
Cars might be looked at differently in Australia but 99% of cars in the UK seemed to be sold based on cost/mile and residual value. Very dull.
