So... I just installed my KB, it's not dialed in yet so I dont know about power numbers. Im assuming 650-700whp after everything is said and done.
Now, with that being said this car is a Daily Driver. I drive in almost everything but snow. I live in NC so the winters arnt bad at all. Most days are 40s-50s during the winter it seems.
I really would like a tire that would last more than 10,000 miles. But I really dont want to blow out sideways in everygear if thats at all possible.
I know that nitto makes a decent drag radial, but again i need some sort of mileage out of them. 2 years would be nice? The stock pirelli's in the back are almost at 10,000 miles and theyre really wearing thin. So my next upgrade will be a set of tires. I know I cant have my cake and eat it too, but im seeing what most people get out of certain tires.
Im not looking to heat them up and launch daily. Still have stock half shafts/clutch for the time being. I just dont want to spin horribly in 3rd on if at all possible.
So in summary:
Tire that can be driven in the rain
Tire that lasts 15000+ miles
Tire that will hook in atleast 3rd around 650-700whp
EDIT: Im running the stock PP wheels, so 285ish would be my limit.(I know I can run a 305, but i would like a normal contact patch/tire wear)
