Hey, feel free to post your own cooking favorite. Indoor and/or outdoor does not matter. If you desire, feel free to share the recipe. I will start with this being a nice May weekend and the family had steak, vegetable medley, and a pasta salad. The marinade for the steaks has a little “kick” if you will. I will post the recipe and some photos of the steaks...

Devil’s Spit Marinade

Ingredients:

1. Half cup Worcestershire sauce
2. Half cup A-1 Bold & Spicy steak sauce (with Tabasco version)
3. 1 Tablespoon minced onion
4. Half teaspoon minced garlic
5. 1 Teaspoon cayenne pepper (powder)
6. Half teaspoon crushed red pepper
7. Half teaspoon black pepper
8. 1 Lime
9. Optional - - - 2 Habanero peppers finely chopped

Preparation:

Use a large bowl for mixing. Pour Worcestershire and A-1 sauces into the bowl. Add the onion, garlic, cayenne powder, red pepper, black pepper, and optional habanero peppers. Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from both halves into the bowl. Mix thoroughly. Pour the marinade carefully into an extra large Ziplock freezer bag. Add up to 4 steaks into the bag. Seal, shake thoroughly and put the bag into the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours... Grill to your liking!!!

Finally replaced my gas grill, offset smoker and two durm smokers with a new gravity feed charcoal grill / smoker. This thing is fantastic. I've had it about two weeks now.

Reverse seared NY strips. First time trying the reverse sear. Highly recommend the process.

Had a seafood feast for some self indulgence. I’ll take my smiles any way they come. A couple king crab legs, a claw, pan seared scallops with homemade bacon jam, asparagus, and a sourdough cannonball. There may have been a libation or two as well. Also made beef bourguignon in the crock pot (easy way) but it turned out really well. Cheers!
