Went from a gen2 to a gen3, same tune?

S480 Single turbo, was tuned on HPtuners, 1k whp, now switched to a gen3, can I use same tune as long as afr’s are in the mid low 11’s??
The higher compression really comes alive sooner. I had to turn the boost way down to where I’m basically running on wastegate. Afr’s look good. I’m gonna keep it low boost till I can redo the fuel pumps and turn her up on the dyno with a new tune. Don’t know how long that would be, probably will do some logging to see other parameters.. Tnx

Shouldn't change anything. As long as targeted lambda is still being maintained, and fuel trims are under 5% on the +/-, it should be fine.

You are talking about the shortblock only correct? Because the gen2 and gen3 complete engine will not swap
