POLICE are seeking public assistance to locate two men involved in an armed robbery in which a 2016 Ford Mustang was stolen from a north Brisbane home.

Residents of the house on Sapsford St, Northgate, were woken shortly before 1.30am last Thursday by a noise outside.

It is understood the female occupant opened the door and was threatened with a gun as the men entered the house.

The male occupant was also threatened.

The men demanded the keys to the man’s car, while also stealing other items from the house.

They then fled the scene in the Mustang with the Queensland number plate “SAMMO”.

Seems crazy to target a Mustang in a home invasion - it's not an expensive car.
Makes me wonder if there isn't more to the story...

Hmm...good thing Australia had that gun buy-back program...ya know, so they didn't have to worry about stuff like this.

Hope they nab those asshats.
