Hello,

I just ordered some matte black GT500 style wheels for my V6. They are 19x8.5 all around. I will need new tires though and trying to find out which is the best size for it. I don't have experience upsizing wheels/tires as this is my first time buying new wheels.

On AmericanMuscle it states that the best tire size for this is 245-45R19 so I was looking at the Pirelli P Zero A/S. From your guys' experience would you recommend this tire size for the new wheels? My car is not lowered...if that even matters in this case.

You newb you... :headbonk:

Here is a useful tool to input different sizes and see what the wheel and tire looks like. Tire size calculator

I would probably recommend either a 255/40/R19 or 255/45/R19. Put it this way, Ford put 255/40/R19 on some S550s from the factory, so you know that one will work. I'd personally get a slightly taller tire (255/45/R19) to help fill the wheel well a little and a better ride because it would have more sidewall.

+1 on 255/40R19.

I wouldn't buy Pirellis. Michelin Pilot AS 3+, Conti DWS 06 or BFG Comp 2 A/S.

I'd avoid the Pirelli's as well. As stated go with the 255. Check out the new Cooper RS3-G1's as well along with the tires BmacIL posted.

Since you were looking at all seasons (if that's what you want), DEFINITELY take a look at conti DW/DWS's. Awesome tires for the money in the A/S region.
