VA to MD Registration

I moved from VA to MD and in the process of getting MD tags.
Has anybody done this? if so, about how much was the total cost? I have a 2017 so i am assuming i dont need to do emissions or anything like that. but i know I do have to pay 135 for 2 year tags, tax (difference of MD and VA percentage) or purchase price and i think titling fees.
So im guessing my total cost of this is going to be over 500...which makes me not even want to do it at the moment but I just switch to a MD DL.

I’ve only ever lived in MD so I’m not totally sure what’s needed as far as taxes go. But this should help
